The Stars have signed Australian shooter Charlie Bell for the 2025 ANZ Premiership season.
Bell represented the Sunshine Coast Lightning for the past two Suncorp Super Netball seasons and had a taste of ANZ Premiership action this year, when she suited up for the Tactix as an injury replacement player in round one against the Steel.
"I'm absolutely stoked to be given this incredible opportunity with the Stars in 2025. I'm really excited to challenge myself in a new environment, be a sponge for learning and grow my game to new heights!"
Standing at 196 centimetres, Bell will be one of the tallest players in the competition and is hoping to make a statement in the Stars dress.
"I'm a strong, tall and versatile target in the circle but also have confidence to use my agility and shoot long range. I believe this is an exciting part of my game I'm developing and can't wait to practice and learn more of the New Zealand style of play."
